Ratatouille MRE #14

The "meals-ready-to-eat", otherwise known as MRE's are individual meals that the military uses for their troops when they're on the field. These meals are complete with heater, spoon, spices and dessert.

The meal below is from case B meal #14 and contains the following:

[[...Ratatouille, Wet Pack Fruit, Peanut Butter, Plain Cracker, Nut Raisin Mix, Trans Fat Free, Diaryshake, Hot Sauce...]]

Note: if you ever need to check the dates on your MRE's, there's a number stamped on every sealed pack. You will use the MRE converter calculator to find out when it was packaged. All meals have been "inspected" 3 years after packaging. If stored correctly, the meals will be good for several years after inspection date. Usually, there's a red temperature sticker on each case that indicates proper temperature which will turn black when meals have been compromised!

Many preppers are collecting these meals for emergency situations like tornadoes, earthquakes, famine or war.

The meals are made to be self sufficient, easy to consume and easy to carry in your hiking or bug-out bag.

They are fortified with calories to give you the energy to survive in the wilderness.

This Ratatouille meal was very tasty, especially when heated through and through! You don't need dishes or utensils; the meal pack comes with the heater bag which only needs a few drops of water and that will heat your entree. When it's ready you will consume it right out of the package with the spoon that's included.
