When I saw it, I thought it was an ancestor of R2D2, but I watched my guy start the coals, put the bowl of water with woodchips in it and get it going.
Long story short, the chickens were tender and juicy and the Boston butt was to die for.
But...there's ALWAYS a but to every story...
No one told me it would take 10 to 12 hours to get it done!!!
I love grilled food and I love that you can easily have dinner done in a couple of hours, but not half a day.
All in all, the pork was the bomb but I won't be smoking chickens anymore. Nothing even comes close to the grilled flavor.
Next weekend we're gonna smoke starting at 6 a.m. and have delicious BBQ pulled pork for dinner :)
